Giorgos Kourakos obtained his PhD in groundwater hydrology from the National Technical University of Athens, Greece. In 2010 he joined Dr. Harter's Group, where he works as groundwater modeler, programmer and GIS specialist. From 2016 he also works jointly for the Special Secretariat for Water in Greece. His research interest are groundwater modeling, data analysis, visualization, parallel computing etc.
